Now Truecaller has another partnership, and it’s even bigger. Now Huawei smartphones will be coming with Pre-installed True-caller application. Now by September 2016 onwards, all Huawei’s flagship phones will now come preloaded with the Truecaller app. However, a representative for the company has told TechCrunch that Truecaller will be installed on future Huawei smartphones sold across the United States, North Africa, Middle East, India, and South East Asia. This includes Honor’s smartphones as well, and starts with the Honor 8 which was announced for the United States last week and Europe this week. “Our partnership with Huawei is a big milestone and is the first of its kind that has only scratched the surface of the enormous potential that is yet to be discovered with Truecaller”, added Zarringhalam.

In addition to making calls, the app will allow users to search for numbers, block spam calls, check availability and call duration – features that basic dialers do not have. George Zhao, President of Honor, said that Honor 8 is the first device to feature pre-loaded Truecaller app which can actually refine the call experience of the users. This comes on the heels of Truecaller announcing that they have 90 million monthly active users.
