The Indiana governor, Conway and other surrogates said the main tenets of Trump’s immigration plan still will include building a wall along the southern US border and making Mexico pay for it, no path to legalization or citizenship for people here illegally and stronger border enforcement.

“There will be no path to legalization, no path to citizenship”.

Tapper pressed Pence several times on whether Trump specifically still wants a “deportation force” – which he’d called for almost a year ago.

He’s also insisted he’ll build a U.S. -Mexico border wall.

“Next question”, Christie, a top adviser to Trump, said when asked during a news conference at the East Dover Fire Company about Trump’s comments.

“It’s what happens when you listen to the radio host Alex Jones, who claims that 9/11 and the Oklahoma City bombings were inside jobs”.

Some leaders of the so-called alt-right movement appear to be happy that Hillary Clinton called them out in a major speech attacking Donald Trump.

Conway said Trump will be reviewing his various policy proposals for combating terrorism and jump-starting the economy.

RADDATZ: OK, thanks very much for joining us this morning, Governor Christie.

“Now there’s going to be, you know, some decisions he’s going to have to make as president regarding those folks, and I think what he’s said let’s first get all of the bad actors out of the country”, he said. “I think it was a poor choice of words. So he obviously would work with law enforcement, immigration, the immigration agencies”, she said. African-Americans will VOTE TRUMP! “It never helps a candidate to have to give an “I” m not a racist’ defense”, West said.

Such polls also indicate Clinton is ahead in some of the most competitive and pivotal states, with 72 days remaining before Election Day.

AP Senior Vice President and Executive Editor Kathleen Carroll told CNN’s “Reliable Sources” on Sunday that the tweet was “sloppy” and “could have used some more precision”.

Trump’s first tweet about the shooting ended this way: “Just what I have been saying”.

Trump continued Saturday to try and reach African-American voters.

“We all learned in kindergarten to stand in line and wait our turn, and he is not talking about a deportation force”, she said.

“We can continue with the leadership that has left us with risky streets in our cities, failing schools, no jobs”, he said. Joni Ernst’s annual Roast and Ride event, Trump began by noting “there are millions of American-Americans in this country who have succeeded” but stressed that government has failed black communities, with nearly 40 percent of African-American children living in poverty.
