Halo 5 Forge Coming to PC Next Month
This will arrive alongside a free content update for the first-person shooter, Anvil’s Legacy, which promises “significant updates” to the Xbox One version of Forge.

Forge has full support for mouse and keyboard inputs (which is of course the preferred control scheme for PC gamers) and will allow you to play against up to 16 of your online friends. Sources say that this new feature will be a new way to play “Halo 5: Guardians”.
Microsoft has announced a partnership with SkyBox Labs that will bring Halo 5’s entire Forge level-creation experience to Windows 10 PCs. The clips show how the maps look in 4K resolution, along with a glimpse of Halo 5 multiplayer on the PC. Entitled Anvil’s Legacy, the content release will bring Forge’s content browser to the Xbox One, which will let users access content created on both PC and Xbox One. Both are set on the Elite homeworld, Sanghelios. Apart from 8GB memory and 2GB VRAM as minimum requirements, Windows 10 Anniversary Update is also the base requirement for Forge Mode. Any maps, modes, or mini-games created using Forge on the PC can be published to the Xbox One.
The DLC will also introduce three new weapon variants, Sound Dampener attachments, more REQ, new armour/weapons skins and more customisation options. The map and game-making tool will be available from the Windows Store and includes mouse and keyboard support.
Microsoft may not face such issues as the Xbox One shares a lot of similarities with the Windows 10 PC. It also brings support for both keyboard and mouse in order to obtain a better placement and manipulation of the objects, a high-res display (even 4K) and an awesome fidelity in graphics.

There will also be two new maps: “Mercy” for Arena and “Temple” for Warzone.
