The overall GCSE result is significantly higher than both regional and national averages.

Malcolm Trobe, interim general secretary of the Association of School and College Leaders (ASCL), said analysis of previous data showed that youngsters resitting GCSEs a year later only improve by half a grade – while a “significant” number actually achieve a lower score.
“The new performance measures mean that we are now reporting the percentage of students achieving the Basics, A*-C in English and Maths, similar to the old measure, and also Progress 8 which measures progress against starting point”, added Mr Bevan.
Morgane Dumas achieved “outstanding” results including 10 A*s. “We are incredibly proud of all of our pupils and we would like to wish them well for the future”. 47 pupils gained at least eight A*-A grades.
Charlotte Tissier got five As, three A*s and two Bs.
75% of our pupils achieved A* to C in maths and 82% achieved the same in English.
