Liverpool to send Wisdom on loan to Salzburg
It will be the fourth temporary spell in as many campaigns for the 23-year-old, who was also courted by former Reds boss Brendan Rodgers in an attempt to beef up Celtic’s backline.

Wisdom spent the 2014/15 season at West Brom and then last season he played for Norwich City before returning to Liverpool for pre-season this summer.
The fee also includes add-ons and a 30% sell-on clause for the Reds.
Wisdom can play in central defence or right back, and may represent an upgrade on Saidy Janko.
Now, the Daily Mail report that Rodgers is looking into the possibility of signing West Bromwich Albion right back Cristian Gamboa, with the Costa Rican global well down the pecking order under Tony Pulis.
A transfer for Andre Wisdom seemed to make sense for all parties, except the 23 year old has joined Austrian champions Red Bull Salzburg on loan instead, via Liverpool Echo.
Able to operate at both right-back and centre-back, Wisdom is likely to progress in the latter role in Salzburg, where he will be managed by Oscar Garcaa Junyent.

No doubt keen to play first-team football this season, Gamboa could leave The Hawthorns before Wednesday’s transfer deadline, with Celtic now looking into the possibility of snapping him up, most probably on loan.
