Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 Getting VR Support On October 13, 2016

Dead or Alive Xtreme 3, the series’ latest, Asian region-exclusive research project on the female form, will support the PlayStation VR on launch day, and the first, not at all safe for work footage of the mode in action leaves nothing up to surprise.

PlayStation VR has yet to arrive – the headset launches October 13 – but Koei Tecmo has already nailed down its plan to attract a certain consumer base to the new hardware. “Yes, that’s exactly as gross as it sounds”.

Okay, sorry, there do seem to be some mechanics at play; you can use the DualShock 4’s position-tracked controls to prod at the women who will apparently jump and squeal in reaction.

“I know it’s easy to look at something like this and say “Well, Japan” but it’s still surprising to see this all on PlayStation VR.it’ll be interesting to see if the mere existence of this type of content creates controversy for Sony”.

In Gamer’s video, which can be seen below, we see one games journalist poking and prodding at Kasumi’s body, viewing her at unique angles, and straight up burying his face into her chest.

“Watching a grown man grope a bikini model in virtual reality is awkward enough in its own right, but listening to the video’s dialogue makes it worse”.

The game isn’t coming to the West – and a community manager for Team Ninja, the studio behind the the aforementioned beach simulation, has previously commented on the fact that the way women are represented in the game might be why it is only being released in Asia, Polygon reported.
