Variety reports E! has cancelled I Am Cait after two seasons.

Jenner appeared on several seasons of E!’s “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” before she got a show of her own.
“After 2 awesome seasons of @IAmCait, it’s time for the next adventure”, Jenner tweeted.
Candis Cayne, one of Caitlyn Jenner’s close friends who appeared on “I Am Cait“, will be a guest speaker during a Pride Day program at the New York State Fair. According to The Hollywood Reporter, a mere 745,000 viewers tuned in to the second season’s premiere in March – a figure almost 2 million off from the series’ launch.
The first-ever episode of “I Am Cait” aired on July 26, 2015 – less than two months after Jenner, 66, reintroduced herself to the world as Caitlyn.
In an interview with the Associated Press at the GLAAD Media Awards in April, the show’s creator Jill Soloway said Caitlyn’s decision to join was a “dream come true”.
Jenner also took to Twitter to announce the news and thanked E! network. Its first episode gave E! its largest audience for a premiere in four years, garnering 2.7 million viewers in total.
Given the nature of the Kardashian empire on E! as a whole, we have a hard time imagining that this is the last you will see of Jenner on television.
It’s the end of the road for I Am Cait.

Jenner will make regular appearances on Keeping Up With the Kardashians. Her views and controversial comments probably made a lot of season 1 viewers switch off as well.
