Facing headwinds among moderate voters who view his past rhetoric as racist, but trying to assuage his core conservative base, Trump has attempted something of an image makeover during the past two weeks – leaving Democrats and Republicans alike unclear on where actually Trump stands. Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump announced that he will be making a speech on illegal immigration on Wednesday (Aug 31) in Arizona, after a week of speculation that he might be softening his hard-line promise to deport 11 million people living in the USA illegally.
“I don’t think he’s in any better or worse (shape) than the average person that goes and exercises every single day”, Trump’s doctor, Harold Bornstein, said to NBC when asked about the candidate’s health.

He still says he’ll build a wall.
He also termed Trump’s “deportation force” as “a mechanism, not a policy”.
But Trump is foundering and immigration and Pope Francis may be key.

But Trump surrogates – people chosen by the campaign to speak on his behalf – have told voters that Mrs Clinton suffered a stroke and has seizures.
It’s not, I assume, that Trump is winning fans.
Jackson said that he has made a “formal request” for an appearance by Clinton to her campaign but “we haven’t received a response”.
“Let me just tell you”, Trump retorted, “that Dwight Eisenhower, good president, great president, people liked him”. “Banks have been -whether it’s through certain laws, Dodd-Frank, if you look at some of these laws it’s impossible for banks to loan money to anybody”, Trump said at the meeting.

He also backed away from Trump’s opposition to automatic citizenship for children born in the United States to illegal immigrants. But whom Trump considers a criminal remains unclear. “You have no jobs”, Trump said earlier this month at a speech in Dimondale, Mich.
