Fabregas dismisses exit rumours, committed to Conte and Chelsea

Reports from Italy have claimed that he is a target for Juventus and Internazionale but the 29-year-old has made it clear that he will stay at Chelsea.

The Bianconeri need midfield reinforcement after Paul Pogba’s move to Manchester United, and have been linked with the Spanish worldwide.

Fabregas has been unable to break into Conte’s starting XI this season, named among the substitutes in all three of Chelsea’s Premier League matches so far, while he did not come off the bench in Saturday’s 3-0 win at home to Burnley.

“He said that he counts on me, as I count on him”, Fabregas wrote on Facebook on Sunday.

The former Arsenal and Barcelona midfielder has failed to secure a prominent role in Conte’s Chelsea side during the opening couple of weeks of the English Premier League 2016/17 season, fuelling rumours of a transfer.

Last November Fabregas took to social media to proclaim his support for then Blues manager Jose Mourinho and refute reports he was the leader of rumoured dressing room unrest.

Chelsea’s Cesc Fábregas could well be on his way out of the Premier League club by the end of the transfer window, according to reports in the United Kingdom media.
