Fabregas denies Conte row and has say on Chelsea future

“It’s not hard because Batshuayi is a player of Chelsea and I can decide to put him in [against Burnley] no problem”, he said at a pre-match news conference.

Antonio Conte admits Chelsea’s chances of winning the Premier League will be damaged if they fail to make any more signings before the transfer window closes next week.

“It’s a lesson for us and hopefully we can put it right over the worldwide break”.

His manager Antonio Conte suggested that Willian was in contention to start this weekend, telling reporters at his Friday press conference, “He had a good session with the team today”.

“He’s tried to give us confidence”, Hazard told Chelsea’s official website.

“For this reason I told my players to pay a lot of attention because it will be a very tough match”.

The Belgium worldwide was also involved as Willian’s strike doubled the advantage before Victor Moses added a late third from fellow substitute Pedro Rodriguez’s cross. But I m pleased with his commitment and work-rate – and the same goes for all the players. The Belgium worldwide failed to make much of an impact last season, but there have already been plenty of signs so far this season to show that Hazard is back near his best form.

Willian doubled the lead before half-time and the only surprise was that, despite dominating the entire game, Chelsea weren’t able to add to that lead until substitute Victor Moses struck in the 89th minute as they produced their first clean sheet of the season.

Burnley manager Sean Dyche has meanwhile praised Chelsea’s squad, and hopes that his players will be able to stand their ground against such a team.

“But also we know that last season the players were not fifth or sixth, but 10th”.

“But we did not perform well at all in the first half”.

He has great talent and also I know he’s a good guy who wants to improve.

The Clarets got their first Premier League win in style last Saturday when they beat a well-fancied Liverpool side despite only having a 19 per cent of possession at Turf Moor. When you stay behind for too long the long ball, anything can happen.
