Chicago police superintendent Eddie Johnson says Darwin and younger brother Derren Sorrells are convicted felons who spent time in prison.

Police arrested 26-year-old Darwin Sorrells and 22-year-old Derren Sorrells, both documented gang members.
The professional basketball star’s cousin, Nykea Aldridge, was fatally shot while pushing her baby in a pram on the South Side.
Alridge, 32, was caught in the crossfire of nearby gunshots.

Aldridge wasn’t the target of the gunfire, but she’s dead all the same.
“The gun offenders that choose to do this time and time again, we have to hold them accountable”, Johnson said, referring to Darwin and Derren Sorrells, the men who were charged with the murder of Alridge. Though the fact remains that yet another inner-city child will now have to grow up without a parent because of senseless gun violence. “I will walk you down a block, Mr. Trump, and I guarantee you won’t get shot”, Rhymefest, whose legal name is Che Smith, said in an interview with CNN’s Carol Costello.
He also described the problem of illegal guns and gun violence in his city as an endemic one, saying that “all Chicagoans should be frustrated” with the violence. “The law has to change”, said Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel during a public appearance Monday.

According to another report by ABC13, the family had planned a Sunday afternoon vigil for Aldridge at the Willie Mae Morris Empowerment Center in Chicago, which was “was developed in part to assist the city of Chicago in their continued efforts to decrease the violence and fatalities by providing a safe haven and high quality programming for our youth”.
One of the working theories regarding the shooting death of Wade’s cousin is that the bullet which hit Aldridge in the head and killed her may have been fired during a robbery attempt, which involved a driver from the popular ride-sharing app, Uber. “African-Americans will VOTE TRUMP!”
The Republican vice presidential nominee would not answer direct questions Sunday about guns from IN coming into Chicago during CNN’s “State of the Union” show.
Actor Don Cheadle sparked a spirited, hours-long debate on Twitter in which he characteriSed Trump’s tweet as “more red meat to his alt-right troglodytes”.
