Justin Bieber Sets Eight Guinness World Records

The 22-year-old singer is making headlines for his latest achievement – Guinness World Records just awarded him EIGHT world records, and it’s all thanks to the success of “Purpose”, his fourth studio album.

Bieber will be recognized in the Guinness World Records 2017 edition.

Hot on the heels of his fourth studio album, the Canadian singer has earned the record for the most streamed album on Spotify (in one week) with objective and most streamed track with What Do You Mean?

Released on August 28, 2015, the breakthrough album was the Most streamed album on Spotify in one year, current (unique listeners). (No.3) towered the United Kingdom singles chart.

Other categories were: The most followers on twitter (male), most simultaneous tracks on the USA singles chart, most viewed music channel on YouTube (individual) and most subscribers on YouTube for a musician (male).

Despite being caught up in a lot of drama and being the center of negative attention, Justin Bieber still remains to be one of the most successful artist of his generation.

In December 2015, a whopping 17 Bieber songs charted on the Billboard Hot 100-more than any other performer, ever.

The Guinness World Records 2017 Edition is available on September 8th for the suggested retail price of £20 United Kingdom and $28.95 U.S.

A team of Guinness staff recently presented Bieber with his certificates before a sold-out show at Madison Square Garden in NY.
