Samsung has launched in New York, the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ and Samsung Galaxy Note 5 smartphones.

The Galaxy Note 5 has a detachable hard keyboard and a new feature called SideSync that allows messages to be synced across phones and computers using Windows and Apple’s systems. The Galaxy Note 5 still uses a stylus, the S-Pen, which the company says is like writing with a ballpoint pen.

The Galaxy Note 5 is the successor to Samsung’s Note 4. The phablets are available for preorder from all four major US carriers now. We were highly anticipating a 128GB variant but there was no mention of it at the Galaxy Note 5 unpacking event yesterday but it seems likely that the model will be announced later this year.

It also runs Samsung’s Exynos 7, 64-bit processor and comes with a choice of 32 or 64 GB storage, but has no memory card slot. After about six months of waiting, Samsung Pay is nearly ready to go, and it still looks like it could be more convenient than anything their rivals are doing. On the S6 Edge+, Samsung has unveiled a new “Apps Edge” feature, allowng you to pin your frequently used apps on the edge display, as well as the contacts options previously rolled out.
