BLU Pure XR becomes official, has 4GB of RAM and costs $299.99
Inside of the Pure XR is an octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 processor with 4GB of RAM and a non-removable 3000mAh battery. The device has 64GB of internal storage, which is expandable via a microSD card up to another 64GB. The Pure XR from BLU, which was teased by the company earlier this month, is a $299 phone that offers specifications you should expect from an unlocked high-end (ish) phone in 2016.

It’s available now from United States retailers like Amazon and Best Buy offering plenty of bang for your buck. AT&T, T-Mobile, and MetroPCS will be the carriers where the phone will be supported, while a contest is being held by BLU themselves for three lucky contestants to win their own Pure XR just by entering their name, email, and age.
In exchange for your hard-earned dollars, you’ll get a Pure XR with a 5.5-inch 1920×1080 Super AMOLED display and a feature called “Advanced 3D Touch”, which you can use to select, preview, and open items.
The Android 6.0 Marshmallow device has an oct-core processor and a 16-megapixel camera with phase detection autofocus and an LED flash. Being the First to implement “invisible” antenna method for a full metal design, the uni-body limits the use of plastic for a solid and seamless results.
Blu Pure XR comes with a 1080p SuperAMOLED display. On the front, meanwhile, is an 8MP front-facing camera with a wide-angle lens. There is also a fingerprint scanner on the front and the device is kept powered by a 3,000 mAh battery.

It’s a carrier unlocked phone that’s compatible with AT&T, T-Mobile, and other GSM networks in the United States (including Cricket, MetroPCS, and Straight Talk). The Blu XR falls a tad short of the Energy XL’s monster spec sheet, but its footprint is concededly a whole lot smaller. Blu claims that a 10-minute charge would be enough for a talk time of up to one hour, according to Engadget. The connectivity options of the handset include 4G, LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Global Positioning System.
