Chris Evans Will No Longer Play Captain America In Marvel Cinematic Universe

According to Joe Russo, Rogers’ giving up his hero identity is a huge hindrance to his personal choices. His final Marvel film, unless he renegotiates his contract, will be Avengers: Infinity War. He managed to catch it when Steve threw it at him in “The Winter Soldier” and the two even whipped it back and forth while taking on Iron Man in “Civil War”.

Thor fans didn’t get to see a lot of Thor action when they went to see “Captain America: Civil War” in theaters, but he’s just been hanging out, getting to know the world he now lives in, and finding a little Thor time. It has been rumored that Rogers may suit up as Nomad. Maybe instead Steve Rogers will hang around using his other superhero identity from the ’70s.

Besides the confirmation of Captain America’s estrangement from the team, the Russo brothers also gave away important information that will pique the curiosity of the fans. Markus said, “There’s a big purple guy coming”. Captain America: Civil War arrives in Digital HD on September 2, and Blu-ray 3D, Blu-ray, and DVD on September 13, 2016.

Captain America: Civil War will be available in the United Kingdom digitally from August 30th, and on Blu-ray & DVD September 5th, and in the USA on digital platforms September 2nd and disc on September 13th. One thing that could be interesting would be for Captain America to take on the moniker of Nomad.

That big guy is Thanos, who is rearing to cause all sorts of trouble in “Avengers: Infinity War” and the following untitled Avengers film, which are set to release in May 2018 and May 2019 respectively. That leaves him with six films left to explore the Bucky Barnes story.
