Danny Rose’s second-half equalizer earned Tottenham a 1-1 draw against Liverpool on Saturday in a match between two outsiders for the English Premier League title.

When the fixture list came out and Liverpool fans saw three away games – two in north London – four points would have seemed a fair result.
Klopp is more than happy with how his side defended against a potent Tottenham side.

This time at White Hart Lane, Lallana was deeper in the midfield three, while Mane returned to the starting line-up to reprise his role from the opening day win at Arsenal where he scored a fine individual goal.

Klopp was able to give summer signing Matip a taste of Premier League life as he wrestled with Vincent Janssen, while the pace and goal threat of Mane gives Liverpool an extra dimension – although he sailed very close to the wind after getting a yellow card in the first half.
