Dangote spends N4.5bn to tackle malnutrition, others in North

“We discussed the idea of partnerships because with this government, the worldwide community will feel this partnership is possible”.

Earlier, the Irish born artist, Bono, said he had visited some of the IDPs.

“So the spirit of partnership is what we really discussed and specifically the Make-Nigeria-stronger Campaign from the One campaign”.

The UN estimates that 50,000 children in displaced people’s camps could die from malnutrition by the end of the year if it does not get funding to support feeding projects.

Business mogul Aliko Dangote says his foundation has spent over N4.5 billion to help insurgency-ravaged communities in Borno, Yobe and Adamawa states following the havoc caused by Boko Haram.
