Finally, the LG 34UM79M is a flat-screened, ultrawide IPS monitor with built-in Google Cast streaming capabilities. LG says this makes for a more immersive experience with movies and games, though the 34UM79G, unlike the 34UC79G, does not support AMD FreeSync.

The 34-inch 34UC79G, which will carry a $699 suggested retail price when it hits stores in mid-October, is a 34-inch curved screen gaming monitor with a 144Hz IPS 21:9 curved UltraWide screen created to be used as an extreme gaming monitor. Among LG’s other two displays is what it claims is the world’s largest UltraWide monitor, the 38-inch 38UC99 with a curved IPS panel and Quad HD+ (2840×1600) resolution.

First up: The 38UC99.

Offering unrivaled screen real-estate, model 38UC99 is ideal for tasks that require attention to details.

LG said Monday night that each monitor has a 21:9 UltraWide screen with wide viewing angles, vivid color rendering and enhanced user convenience. These factors make the 38UC99 the flawless workstation monitor for visual content creators, data crunchers and other multitasking professionals. It will sport a QHD+ resolution of 3840×1600 and will come with a USB-C port, which apparently it will be the world’s first monitor to do so as well. The advanced port allows users to transmit content and data as well as charge another device such as a smartphone or laptop at the same time, all with single code helping eliminate clutter.

And the 38UC99 is just as suitable for entertainment as it is for workplace efficiency. With two 10-watt Rich Bass speakers built-in, the 38UC99 is an all-in-one multimedia package for users that demand high fidelity in image and audio quality. The 34-inch 34UC79G is a curved IPS monitor aimed at gamers, with a 144Hz refresh rate and LG’s Dynamic Action Sync technology that reduces input lag.

The company will introduce a total of three new monitors in the line, all with 21:9 aspect ratios. The monitor also features LG’s CINEMA Screen design, with an extremely thin bezel for a almost borderless and more immersive visual experience.
