The world’s fastest man is now a ideal nine-for-nine in Olympic finals. In each Olympic, he won the gold medal in the three events he competed in.

“I’m happy I’ve accomplished so much”. Bolt is now a flawless nine-for-nine in Olympic finals.

“There you go”, he said.

Felix had been bumped in the preliminary heats and lost the baton, but the US team protested and got a second chance – a solo re-run that allowed them to qualify on times.

“There’s no one on the anchor leg who can outrun me when we get the baton”.

“I told the guys that if they didn’t come through for me I’d beat them up!”

Asafa Powell, who ran the opening leg of the relay, said he was thrilled by Bolt’s accomplishments.
