Just like us: Taylor Swift reports to jury duty, dismissed
The 26-year-old took part in jury selection for a case involving aggravated rape, aggravated kidnapping, and domestic assault. Merville was dismissed as a potential juror in a separate case.

But even Swift’s good deeds couldn’t keep her on the jury.
But while the regular folk no doubt relished the thought of serving with her in a long trial, maybe becoming friends, who knows, it wasn’t to be.
Before Swift was dismissed from the jury pool on Monday, she took time to chat and take selfies with other potential jurors.
Taylor was noticeably absent during this year’s MTV Video Music Awards; this was quickly explained after it came to light she was in Nashville being considered for jury duty. The incident left Swift “surprised, upset, offended, and alarmed”, according to legal documents.
Last year Mueller filed a lawsuit against Taylor, claiming he was sacked from a country radio station after being kicked out of a Taylor concert when her security team made the allegations against him.
Technology-infrastructure company boss Bryan Merville said around 20 of 140 people in a waiting area asked for a photo or autograph. “Mueller claimed the person who assaulted Swift was actually one of his superiors”. Mueller is suing the star, claiming he was falsely accused and lost his job at Denver’s KYGO station as a result.

Taking to the stage to introduce his brand new video for his track “Fade”, Kanye name dropped Taylor by referring to her reaction to the argument the pair had over that “Famous” video. The singer happily posed for photos with the other stunned jurors, who posted the images online where they were widely shared.
