The drama began early Tuesday morning around 3 a.m. when a woman called 9-1-1 from Brown’s residence on the 5000 block of Corbin Avenue in Tarzana, saying the singer pulled a gun on her during a moment of rage.
With such a large police presence outside the home, Brown posted videos on Instagram denying any wrong-doing.
Los Angeles police say they have arrested singer Chris Brown on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon.
Los Angeles cops rushed to Brown’s home after a woman said that Brown threatened her with a gun.
TMZ reported that Police retrieved at least one gun, other weapons, and drugs from Chris Brown’s home, after Chris threw a duffel bag out the window of his home. In one video, Brown said he was asleep and awoke to helicopters hovering above his home.
TMZ Live spoke with the woman who they said was the alleged victim, Baylee Curram, who said she has partied with the singer before.
Police were now waiting on a search warrant.
He also said “F– the police”. “I’m exhausted of (expletive) dealing with you all, y’all the worst gang in the world, the police, and I said it”.
Brown hours later was still inside his home and posted videos on Instagram in which he sought to ally himself with the Black Lives Matter movement against police brutality.
Los Angeles Police Lieutenant Chris Ramirez said Brown was being taken to central Los Angeles for booking.
Brown’s lawyer and reps did not immediately respond to EW’s request for comment.
He was charged with misdemeanor assault for striking a man outside a Washington hotel in 2013. He spent six years on probation after pleading guilty to attacking his then-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009.
Brown was ordered to attend a rehabilitation centre as a result, but was then kicked out of the facility for breaking its rules.

In another incident while in treatment, Brown was accused of throwing a brick at his mother’s auto following a counseling session. This was after Brown had completed court-ordered anger management classes.
