Gatorade Launches Snapchat Video Game Ad Serena Williams’ Match Point
Games have been popping up all over social media, so this time, it is Snapchat’s turn. After tapping the screen, an ad for Serena Williams’ Match Point will appear among the content. Swipe the screen up to access the game from the ad, and then tap to start playing.

The game features Gatorade branding throughout and allows users to play as Serena Williams through 22 levels, each of which represents one of the 34 year-olds grand slam victories. The controls are basic: tap on the left side of the screen to return the ball left, and tap on the right side to return the ball right. If you earn a “great” or “perfect” shot, you’ll hear Williams’ grunt as she hits the shot.
While the first few levels are somewhat of a breeze, the game does gets more challenging – and more addicting – as it goes. If you don’t win on any of your three serves, the game sends you back to your last checkpoint.
Snapchat has released its first multi-level game on the app and it features Serena Williams, a tennis superstar who has won 22 major titles in her career and will be going for her 23rd win on September 10. The tournament kicks off today.
Snapchat users start by swiping right to reach the Discover section and tap on ESPN.

Titled Serena Williams’ Match Point, the video game was unveiled by Gatorade on Monday, Aug. 29, which is also the first day of the U.S. Open.
