ZTE Axon 7 Mini launches (in Europe) despite not being properly announced

The OnePlus 3 is one of the most powerful devices now on the market.

Usually such listings are helpfully revealing a new phone’s specs too, but that doesn’t seem to be the case here.

The Axon 7 Mini has a screen that measures 5.2 inches, so it’s not that much smaller that its counterpart, and will be sold at a price of €299 or around $344. It has a 5.2 inch 1080p AMOLED display. Like the Axon Mini from previous year, the new handset offers a 5.2-inch 1080p AMOLED display, which doesn’t really make it a mini phone, though the device is obviously smaller than the regular Axon 7 (which sports a 5.5-inch Quad HD screen). The storage can be expanded via microSD card by up to 128 GB.

In an unprecedented move, ZTE has released a new smartphone into the market – the ZTE Axon 7 Mini, which is now only available in Germany. Its rear and front cameras are 13 megapixels and 8 megapixels respectively – making it capable of shooting 4K videos. But the Axon 7 Mini does have at least one other thing going for it: the price.

The device also comes with dual SIM capabilities, which basically means that you will be allowed to utilize SIMs from two different mobile networks with no need to swap out the SIM cards.

“The BAM Connection is the absolute right partner to help us launch the Axon 7 and highlight the overall value it brings to consumers’ lives”, ZTE USA vice president of strategic marketing Andrew Elliott said in a statement.

The ZTE Axon 7 is a beast of a phone in terms of specs. We heard it was being prepped a few months ago since the flagship model already made its way to the United States.
