SUN executive director of Communication, Justina Arubi while addressing a press conference in Abuja on Tuesday, August 16, 2016, said such antics must be condemned by professional bodies which any of the trio is claiming affiliation to.

It was the first time she’ll be speaking to the media after her freedom from the militants.

She also added that she wants to leave Abuja for her home in Chibok.

Asked how she felt about becoming a mother herself while in captivity, she replied: “I don’t want to answer”.

The video also showed a Chibok girl reciting a scripted plea for the release of detained Boko Haram fighters in exchange for the kidnapped girls.

The Nigeria Army Monday, said troops on Operation Lafiya Dole, killed 16 suspected Boko Haram militants in a repelled attack at Kangarwa, Borno State.

Boko Haram used 44 children to carry out suicide attacks in West Africa previous year, up from four in 2014, with some as young as eight, mostly girls, detonating bombs in schools and markets, according to the United Nations children’s agency UNICEF.

Nkeki’s mother spent two months with her following her escape but has now returned to Chibok.

“Similarly, their fellow members in the intellectual wing of Boko Haram had desperately tried to paint the trio as victims; paint Salkida as a journalists being vilified for his doggedness and the other two as genuine negotiators”.

But earlier, her brother told the broadcaster Mr Hayatu had been a fighter for Boko Haram until an increase in Nigerian government air strikes meant he was no longer willing to continue fighting.

Her message to her the Chibok girls still in captivity is that they should not lose hope.
