Warner Bros. wants new ‘Harry Potter’ film with
The appetite for all things Harry Potter is insatiable.

Still in its early planning stages, Warner Bros.is eager to make a trilogy of the “Harry Potter and The Cursed Child”, written by Jack Thorn based on a story by J.K. Rowling, which was first released as a stage play in UK.
“Warners is secretly working on getting the movie rights and a screenplay settled, and of course in their minds only one man should be Harry”, the “well-placed Hollywood source” told the publication.
The 27-year-old has previously distanced himself from returning to the role of Harry Potter but recently said “never say never”.
There’s already three new books coming out, a smash hit West End play, and the Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them film on the horizon.
For an entire generation, Harry Potter was the undisputed cash cow for Warner Bros., amassing an eye-watering total of $2.3 billion since its humble debut with the Philosopher’s Stone all the way back in 2001.
But actually, Radcliffe not returning to the franchise until he was 40 would be rather fitting for the role.
Adapted from J.K. Rowling’s short story (well, technically it was more of a textbook), Fantastic Beasts will follow Magizoologist Newt Scamander as he arrives in NY during the 1920s with suitcase full of magical (and fantastic, obviously) beasts.
However he did concede that: “The circumstances would have to be pretty extraordinary”. “He doesn’t need to go back for money or to reboot his career, so he will need some persuading”.
