Unfortunately, there is no hard evidence on this – but if it does happen, expect some major upgrades on Apple’s tablet. Apple is all set to show their next model through their big event.
Of iPhone owners, 11% now own an Apple Watch, and 39% of those interested in the accessory won’t buy unless the cost goes down.
Apple AAPL, -0.11% on Monday sent out invites for an event september 7 that is expected to introduce the iPhone 7, which Piper Jaffray analysts led by Gene Munster believe will go on sale september 16.
According to Bloomberg, Apple, in other news, is carrying an objective to untether the Apple Watch from its iPhone and the company strategies to get done with it by the end of 2016.
“D10” is mentioned as the prototype type which is consistent with previous leaks of alleged iPhone 7 units running Apple test software. So, if that invite image does indeed suggest that a massive iPhone camera upgrade is coming, it’ll also fuel criticism related to the iPhone 7’s less capable camera. The antenna bands on the back of the phone will no longer be there, and the rear camera will not be protruding out.
So what else can we expect from the iPhone 7?
Rumours around the iPhone 7’s specifications have been flying around for months.
“If Apple sticks to its launch schedule from past year, there may not be enough supply at the beginning, as some suppliers are still trying to fix low yield rates of their components”, an industry source told Nikkei. Instead, the iPhone 7 is expected to have only minor improvements from last year’s iPhone 6s, but they believe that whatever Apple puts out will be just “good enough” to drive volume growth year over year, based on the growth in the installed base. This is with reference to the iPhone 7 and the PS4 Neo, both much-awaited devices.
Several users have been left angry by their handset’s vulnerability, with many taking to the Apple website to report the issue.
