AAP removes Sucha Singh Chhotepur as Punjab chief for alleged corruption
Chhotepur’s comments came hours ahead of an AAP meeting in New Delhi to discuss the controversy around a video clip in which Chhotepur is allegedly seen accepting money from a party supporter. I am ready for CBI probe (on allegations of bribe).

The SAD MPs also announced that they would file a formal complaint against AAP with the ECI to ensure that firm action is being taken against the party. Chhotepur’s case has been reportedly handed over to the disciplinary committee for further action.
“There is no sanctity of this committee as those people have been made part of this panel who wanted me out”.
Soon after Aam Aadmi Party’s Punjab convener Sucha Singh Chhotepur hinted at conspiracy by fellow party members for the bribery accusations levelled against him, the party leadership expelled him from his position.
Punjab Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal says,”AAP is hand in glove with the extremist elements and its MLA Jarnail Singh, Co-Convenor of Punjab unit, even tacitly backed the demands of separatist forces on the foreign soil”.
Talking to ANI, Chhotepur said he was very much surprised by this decision of the party. “I will disclose everything on Friday”, he said. “I don’t need certificate from them (AAP leadership)”, he said.
“I was powerless. Those who have the power they get the money”.
Rejecting that he was a candidate for the CM post, he said, “I was never a candidate for the CM post”.
“I told Kejriwal that I am a Sikh and this would have lead to my ex communication from the community”, he had said. “There is no offer from Congress”. Volunteers are my strength.
“Besides, the way you tried to destabilize the governments by resorting to unwarranted protests and dharnas, even while being the Chief Minister only vindicate and validate the widespread perception and the objective for which you took money from the Ford Foundation”, Amarinder alleged. He added that Durgesh always conspires to corner the local Punjabi leaders of AAP within Punjab.

Meanwhile, Chotepur claimed that six Parliamentary zonal coordinators out of total 13 coordinators of the party in Punjab are with him.
