NBC News reported that the investigation involved a felony assault with a deadly weapon report early Tuesday, when police responded to a 3 a.m. 911 call from a woman.

Los Angeles police Lt Chris Ramirez say there was an arrest of 27 years old on Tuesday his known better as Chris Brown was taken to downtown for booking. However, it is not clear if Brown was charged or released on bail. “Brown’s house. At this time, that is all the information we have”, Ramirez said.

“I don’t sleep half the damn night I just wake up to all these. helicopters, choppers is around, police out there at the gate”, Brown said in a video he posted on Instagram as police were stationed outside his house.

“At the same time”, Brown added, “when I call the police for stalker people that are endangering my life, they don’t come until the next day”.

Once at the sprawling mansion of Mr Brown, police officers had to wait for a judge to approve a search warrant before going indoors to look for a weapon and were allegedly refused entrance.

Baylee Curran said Brown and another man had become angry when she admired a diamond necklace – telling the LA Times she was chased out of the house and had to hide under a nearby vehicle with a friend.

After she was allegedly faced with Chris wielding the firearm, Baylee attempted to flee from his home but was asked to sign a non-disclosure agreement before she could get back her cellphone, which had been taken from her upon arrival at the property.

TMZ.com posted a photo of Brown standing outside the home with a police officer and his attorney, Mark Geragos, during the search.

Brown has been in repeated legal trouble since he was convicted in 2009 for assaulting his then-girlfriend, Rihanna, which led to him spending six years on probation.

Detectives filed papers for a search warrant, which was granted hours later, allowing them to enter the R&B star’s home around 1pm local time, following a stand-off Los Angeles Police Department Deputy Chief Bob Green described as “long and protracted”.
