According to state police in Boston, the crash happened around 1:15 a.m. EST. A Subaru Legacy and a hotel shuttle van transporting Logan Airport passengers crashed, police said.
Two passengers of the van, both from out-of state, were determined to be dead at the scene. Their names have not been released.
“Four other occupants from both vehicles were transported to Massachusetts General Hospital with injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening”.
The shuttle has seat belts, but it is still under investigation if the riders were using them.
The man and woman from El Paso who were killed have not yet been identified by authorities. It was reopened at about 6:30 a.m.
State Police are now looking into what caused the crash, and whether any criminal charges will be filed.
