Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare’s multiplayer mode will be revealed during a special livestream event taking place this Friday, September 2, Activision has announced. It’s not just the backdrop to the grand finale to the inaugural Call of Duty: World League, but it also gets to look to the future and Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare.

GRTV’s own Halldor “Dóri” Halldorsson is in transit to this weekend’s massive Call of Duty event in Los Angeles – Call of Duty XP.

He added that it was something that they wanted to do for the fans, to offer a package that has something for everyone.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered will have a significant presence at Call of Duty XP, Activision and Infinity Ward confirmed this week, with a planned multiplayer reveal apparently filling the void we expected the final Black Ops 3 DLC to inhabit before last week’s big reveal.

But the caveat to the Activision bundle is that the remastered version will only be available as part of the “Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare” Legacy, Legacy Pro, and Digital Deluxe editions. Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare is scheduled for release November 4th on PlayStation® 4 system, Xbox One, the all-in-one games and entertainment system, and PC.

Call Of Duty XP is the final of the video game’s competitive championships, where teams from around the world – including the United Kingdom – battle each other for a prize of two million U.S. dollars (£1.52m).
