Hitman releases on disc January 31, 2017

It’s an unusual route for a big name franchise to take the episodic approach, but it seems to have worked out well for Hitman and developer Io-Interactive has plans for two more seasons after this. It will cost $60 / £50 / €60 on console, and $50 / £40 / €50 on PC.

As well as the locations, it’ll feature all the challenges, opportunities, and Escalation Contracts that have been created by the studio, as well as Contracts created by the community. And it will give access to all upcoming Elusive Target live game events taking place after January 31st.

Good news for anyone waiting out on a boxed release of the newest Hitman game; IO Interactive has just announced that Hitman will be releasing January 31, 2017 on physical media. The package also includes the game’s original soundtrack as well as a behind-the-scenes documentary chronicling its initial reveal last year at last year’s E3 to its digital launch this past spring.

The Hitman Requiem Blood Money Pack was originally a digital pre-order incentive, and it will also be available to purchase digitally once the retail version releases.
