DeAngelo Hall, DeAndre Hopkins Take ‘Hard Knocks’ Beef to Twitter
HBO’s “Hard Knocks” premiered on Tuesday night and featured the Houston Texans and former Clemson standout Nuk Hopkins. Later in practice, Hopkins lined up across from Hall and flat-out embarrassed him with a sharp route break that almost separated the 31-year-old cornerback from his body.

Hopkins got the best of Hall in that sequence, as Hall slipped and fell to the turf. Even though former Pro Bowler DeAngelo Hall is much more accomplished than Texans lead receiver DeAngelo Hopkins, his talent (and feet) reigned supreme over the likely Hall of Fame candidate Hall. A war of words then started between the two with Hopkins offering the infamous quote, “I fear God”. The vine of the clip makes you think blew out a knee or dislocated a hip when he awkwardly fell to the ground. It got bad quickly for DeAngelo Hall because memes and remixes to the video were floating around twitter all day.

Hall, whom the Redskins have been careful with since twice having offseason Achilles’ surgery, was legitimately hurt on the play and missed the next two days of practice.
