Chelsea winger Cuadrado edging closer to Juventus return

Juventus have officially confirmed that Chelsea winger Juan Cuadrado has finally completed his loan move to the Serie A club, as the Colombian winger was ruled out of Antonio Conte’s this season’s plans.

The reigning champions of the Italian top flight will hope Cuadrado’s second arrival in Turin can once again signal the beginning of another successful season under Bianconeri boss Allegri. Juventus will sign the player on loan with an option to purchase at the end of his loan term.

Juan Cuadrado spent preseason with Chelsea but has now been loaned out to Juventus until 2019.

The Colombia worldwide is a loan target again for Juve, who had him for the duration of last season in a successful spell for the wide-man back in Italy.

“Should Juventus achieve certain sporting results during the player’s contract of employment, the club will owe Chelsea an additional €4 million in contingent payments”.

Understandably therefore, Chelsea having secured their depth in the backline can afford to let Cuadrado go who doesn’t fit the new system that Conte is trying at Stamford Bridge.

Pedro Rodriguez and Victor Moses will provide cover for Eden Hazard and Willian on the flanks for Chelsea this season after Christian Atsu was allowed to leave for Newcastle on a season-long loan.
