Finally, it’s done. Tottenham have officially rubber stamped a deal to sign Marseille winger Georges-Kévin N’Koudou, with the player joining on a five-year deal.

Nkoudou is Spurs’ third signing of the summer after midfielder Victor Wanyama from Southampton and striker Vincent Janssen from AZ Alkmaar, as manager Mauricio Pochettino boosts his squad ahead of the club’s return to the Champions League.

His eye-catching displays were enough to earn a switch to White Hart Lane and the player, who will wear the number 14 shirt, has put pen-to-paper on a contract that runs until 2021.

The montage of previous tweets concerning the transfer, including a reference to fans continually changing N’Koudou’s Wikipedia page, received nearly 3,000 retweets before the confirmation.

“It suits my playing style”.

Speaking about his move, NKoudou said: “I can’t wait to get to know the Premier League and the English game”.

“I always dreamed of playing in England and I watched a lot of Premier League football past year, including Tottenham games”.
