The news came through a Tweet of Larry “Major Nelson” Hryb.

It should also be noted that the above listed titles will also be available to download on Xbox One consoles, due to Xbox One Backwards Compatibility.

At any rate, on August 26, Xbox Live’s award-winning director of programming, Larry Hyrb tweeted that the classic game “Joust” is now available on Xbox One’s backward compatibility as well.

In a very unusual turn of events, the same week that Castle of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse is being delisted from digital marketplaces, the game is being made backward compatible on the Xbox One.

Each month, the company releases four games that are available to download for free for subscribers of its exclusive Gold service. With that, fans are very excited about getting their hands on next month’s free games.

The other Xbox One game you can download is Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: China, which takes place in 1526 in China, and you get to play as a female protagonist who goes back to her home to seek vengeance. It is a turn-based role-playing game (RPG) that will be replacing “Warriors Orochi 3: Ultimate”. In addition, “Forza Horizon” can be downloaded for free until Sept. 15, as it is part of the September lineup for the Xbox Games with Gold free games list. The original “Mirror’s Edge” will be available from September 16 to 30 as well.

However, not all Games with Gold August 2016 titles are being swapped out so soon.

The “Grand Theft Auto Online” is also said to bring double points when players use the Freemode events.

I always find it odd how games with such big characters (like Turtles in Time Re-Shelled) end up falling off the Xbox Live Marketplace and the PlayStation Store.

Because of the new games expected for the game console, many can look forward to an exciting month of September.
