Rick Perry to appear in ‘Dancing With The Stars’

The official lineup of celebrities who will be joining “Dancing With The Stars” Season 23 was revealed on “Good Morning America” on Tuesday.

Perry, a former Texas Governor, didn’t win over America for presidency, but can he win over America on the show? Former child star Jake T. Austin and Jenna Johnson – Fans fell in love with Austin on Disney’s “Wizards of Waverly Place” and he’ll be angling to transform that fan base into votes.

Other confirmed stars for the new season include Witney Carson, Sasha Farber, Sharna Burgess, Lindsay Arnold, Artem Chigvintsev, Allison Holker and Gleb Savchenko.

“I’m dedicated to doing everything I can to help build awareness for improving the lives of our nation’s veterans, and I’m going to use Dancing With the Stars as a stage – literally and figuratively – to do that”.

Rick Perry is preparing to step into the spotlight again, this time as a member of the upcoming season of reality television dance competition “Dancing with the Stars”.

The young Latina gymnast, who is 16, will partner with Val Chmerkovskiy, 30, a Ukrainian-American professional dancer who has competed on 10 seasons of DWTS with Tamar Braxton, Ginger Zee and Zendaya. She last competed with partner Antonio Sabato Jr. during Season 19 in 2014.
