Kentucky teen dies after football equipment falls during practice

A Hopkinsville, Kentucky teenager died after being hit in the head by a piece of football equipment. The chute is a piece of training equipment meant to help keep linemen low to the ground and ideal their technique.

Quarles was pronounced dead at Jennie Stuart Medical Center.

Friday in Hopkinsville hundreds came to pay their respects at the football field and show support for Quarles’ family.
