The Jammu and Kashmir government Sunday said that the first Hajj flight carrying 350 pilgrims will leave from Srinagar Airport to Madina Munawarah, Saudi Arabia at 8 am on Monday.

The operation to transport pilgrims from numerous cities of Pakistan to the Kingdom will proceed until September 17, Syed Abu Ahmad Akif, director basic of Haj in Pakistan, stated on Friday. “The government has provided all facilities to ensure a comfortable journey for them”.
Lahore: The first special Haj flight will depart for Madina Munawara on August 16 at 5:00pm from the Allama Iqbal worldwide Airport here carrying 360 pilgrims.
Federal Minister said on this occasion that special arrangements have been made for all the pilgrims traveling with private and national airline. “I hope that pilgrims will get cluster accommodation upon reaching Saudi Arbia”.
The press release also said three more Hajj flights lifted off yesterday.
Air India will operate 230 direct special flights for Haj pilgrims in two phases will fly 38,000 Hajjis directly to Jeddah. from seven Indian cities – Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Srinagar, Kochi, Panaji and Nagpur.

Civil Aviation Minister Rashed Khan Menon and Religion Minister Matiur Rahman saw off the first batch of pilgrims at the airport. Biman Bangladesh Airlines will carry 51 thousands pilgrims.
