Anything goes in Star Wars, as The Force Awakens proved past year, and no one is safe.
The scene features Snoke telling Luke that he knows details about his grandfather, which would be Anakin/Darth Vader’s father. “After all, what father doesn’t see his own creation?”
It might seem inconceivable to imagine Star Wars without Luke, Leia or Han, but that’s a future we might have to face.
She said: “I heard a title, and I’m not sure if it’s going to be that”.
Many fans have marked the leak as false, seeing that Disney has been very keen on keeping any info on the story tightly shut, but only time will tell if this fan theory will hold up.
Shout out “midi-chlorians” at the next Star Wars convention you’re at, and this will make more sense to you.
We want to hear from you: What do you think will happen to Jedi Master Luke Skywalker in Star Wars: Episode VIII? He could return to guide Rey as a Force ghost just as Obi-Wan Kenobi did for him in the original trilogy, or appear briefly in Episode IX before dying just like Yoda did in Return of the Jedi.
It would follow the template established in The Force Awakens that the three new films will intentionally bow to the original three Star Wars films, with a world-shaking parental revelation earmarked for the second of the three.
