Sheriff’s officials told Eyewitness News that in addition to Harvill’s three kidnapped children, the two suspects may also be traveling with Robertson’s infant daughter, who is not related to the three kidnapping victims. The 18-month-old girl traveling with them is safe and in the custody of the Pueblo Police Department.

Humphrey was found inside a auto at the motel, while Robertson was found about two blocks away.

Authorities believe that Humphrey and Robertson took the children sometime either before or after Harvill was killed.

On Wednesday evening, a Good Samaritan called police in New Mexico after the three children were left in his care at a motel.

A fugitive couple being sought in the kidnapping of three children whose mother was found dead off a remote Gorman-area road were arrested in Colorado Thursday, authorities said.

Investigators believed the alleged suspects were headed eastbound on I-40 with 2-year-old Joslynn Watkins, 3-year-old Bryaden Watkins and 5-year-old Rylee Watkins.

One of Harvill’s Fresno friends remembered her as a loving parent who doted on her kids, and an all-around “wonderful” person.

Early Wednesday, detectives announced they were looking for the children of murder victim Kimberly Harvill and for a man and woman believed to be their kidnappers.

Humphrey and Robertson are considered persons of interest in her killing.

The body of Kimberly Harvill was found August 14 in some brush by a motorist traveling along Gorman Post Road, north of State Route 138, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department reported. Lt. Joe Mendoza said investigators were not aware of any ongoing conflicts between the half-sisters. A warrant has been issued for their arrest under Los Angeles County DA Case #BA449493.

Harvill and her children were considered transients, spending most of their time in the Fresno area.

Police are asking for help from the public finding two adults and three children from California. She was identified four days later.

“She was in a vehicle in the parking lot of the hotel and that’s where they found a child, Madison”, Mendoza said, noting the child safe and unharmed.

“They were known to go from motel to motel”, Mendoza said.

The sheriff’s department still considers Humphrey and Robertson as on the run and armed and unsafe.
