YouTube star PewDiePie back on Twitter after ISIS joke
And this is probably how he feels about it.

PewDiePie, YouTube’s biggest star, played up a fake news story about getting “unverified” by Twitter because he supposedly joined Islamic terrorist group ISIS to do what he does best – produce short-form content for his millions of fans. “Which is why we both got unverified”, he tweeted in explanation following his account’s reinstatement. Twitter isn’t saying – a representative told Business Insider, “We don’t comment on individual accounts for privacy and security reasons”.
Thankfully suspended accounts slowly have their followers slowly repopulated, so expect this to be back to normal soon. You know, that little blue check mark that signifies you’re talking to the real deal?
The suspension appears to stem from a joke PewDiePie (whose real name is Felix Arvid Ulf Kjellberg) made about joining ISIS with fellow YouTuber Jacksepticeye.
Let’s step back once again! The misunderstanding was due to recent oddball behavior, including his decision to un-verify, the jokes about ISIS, and the fact that his profile picture was a graphic d-ck pic. PewDiePie then uploaded a video claiming he unverified himself, and encouraged his followers to do the same.
As Kjellberg says in a video explaining his side of the story, he chose to un-verify himself on Twitter because the “verification process” is “fucking annoying”. Don’t make running jokes about ISIS if you have millions of followers.

When you click the link in the tweet above, it leads to a totally unrelated story on Sky News. It comes just a day after the internet star was stripped of his blue verification checkmark. The most logical explanation was his ISIS joke, and PewDiePie retweeted a post from satirical news account @SkyNeiws to that effect.
