Teasers from the company implied that a new Moto 360 smartwatch is coming at the IFA 2016. Samsung already made a hint that it will focus its first event in Berlin on the Gear S3. Here we take a look at what we can expect to see at the IFA 2016 from the big names and what we are most looking forward to getting a detailed look at.

Ahead of Sony’s IFA event, Xperia Blog has gotten hands on press photos of Xperia XZ and Xperia X Compact.

The festivities may officially begin on September 2, but manufacturers like Samsung, LG, and others fight aggressively for the limelight by hosting spin-off events and pop-up conferences off the show floor. According to the rumours, there will be three variants – the Classic, the Explorer and the Frontier.

What are you hoping to see revealed at the IFA 2016? Fitbit Inc.is expected to launch its next generation of wearables, the Fitbit Flex 2 and Fitbit Charge 2, codenamed Laryon and Fermion, at IFA. Rumors suggest modular capabilities, a 5.5-inch curved QHD display, Snapdragon 820 processor and 4GB of RAM. The front camera comes along with an 8-megapixel for state-of-the-art selfies. Last but not least and oddly enough, the smartphone is described as running CyanogenMod on top of Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, which is quite odd. If the recently rumored Sony smartphone is indeed the Sony Xperia X2, it is expected that the device will come with 3 GB RAM, 21 MP/12 MP camera combo, and a 1080p screen. There aren’t many rumors making the rounds as Samsung likes to keep its tablets under wraps in the lead up to the launch.

While Samsung will evidently be presenting its Galaxy Note 7 – unveiled early in August – its most eagerly awaited revelation at the Berlin show is a new-gen version of the Gear S3 smartwatch. Acer invested million into Starbreeze in June. The last version was a hit with a rotating bezel and round display. IFA 2016 is likely to showcase HDR TVs and 4K Blu-ray players.
