Apple is about to announce the next iPhone on September 7, and the plot thickens. I wouldn’t expect any better performance from these this year, perhaps next year for the iPhone 10th year anniversary we’ll see Beats Audio packaged in. While we’ve been referring to them as iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, there has been an argument that Apple was going for iPhone 6se and iPhone 6se Plus. It is likely to be a capacitive touch button, and could boast Force Touch technology to offer haptic feedback, just like the trackpad on the new MacBooks.

The iPhone 6S is powered by Apple A9 chipset and 2 GB of RAM.

In their complaint, the plaintiffs have asserted that iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus handsets are “not fit for the goal of use as smartphones because of the touchscreen defect;” and, accusing Apple of fraud and violation of California consumer protection laws, have sought unspecified damages. It conveys the slogan See you on the seventh, which may imply the name of the iPhone 7, and also the date.
Some of the images that got viral online, claiming to be of Apple’s EarPods with lightning connector, also seem to confirm this.
This means that Apple’s iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 plus will probably go on sale on their retail stores on the 16th of September 2016. The iPhone 7 is also expected to feature the same selfie camera, but it will be enabled with an LED flash. This new generation is believed to be extremely similar to last year’s model, with only minor visual differences – such as fewer antenna lines – and one big drawback: the removal of its headphone jack.
