Samsung wraps off new 4G Smartphone J7 Prime: Price, Specs, Release date

The Smartphone is now listed on the official website of Samsung’s Vietnam website and is reported to be available in retail outlets soon.

The Galaxy Tab 2016 is an addition to the Galaxy Tab A series which launched four months ago and there have been hints that Samsung is already planning a new player in the range. The phone packs 32GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 256GB via a microSD card.

The specs of the new model include a faster octa-core Exynos 7880 processor backed by a Mali-T830 GPU and 3GB of RAM, a hardware configuration that gave a score of 814 in the single-core test and 4396 in the multi-core test.

The Galaxy J7 Prime has a 13-megapixel camera with LED flash on the back. It also sports an 8-megapixel secondary front camera onboard with aperture f/1.9 and wide angle lens for better selfies and Video Calling. For starters we’ll be looking at an increase in display resolution from 720p, to Full HD 1080p. It measures 151.50 x 74.90 x 8.10 (height x width x thickness).

The device has been launched at a price of VND 6,290,000 i.e. approximately equal to Rs. 19,000.

Coming to the Connectivity options, The Flagship smartphone offers 4G-LTE, 2G/3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPRS/ EDGE, FM Radio, 3.5mm audio jack, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and a Micro-USB port. T activate sBike mode in this handset, you just have to attach an NFC tag to you bike tank.

If you’re waiting for the Galaxy J7 Prime, the Korean company has listed the handset on its Vietnamese website revealing its specifications. The device is now being sold in the Philippines, where it carries a price tag of PHP 6,990 (around $150).
