Los Angeles police spokesman Tony Im said a woman called 911 Tuesday morning (US time) from outside Brown’s Southern California residence, saying she needed help; after an hours-long standoff with police, Brown was arrested without incident.

“Mr. Brown is going to be transported where he will be arrested for ADW – assault with a deadly weapon”, LAPD Lt. Chris Ramirez told reporters at around 5 p.m. local time (8 p.m. ET).
During the surreal standoff, Brown, 27, took to social media to deny any wrongdoing in a series of videos posted on Instagram.
There is a type of warrant called an “I-Card” for her right now, which would let NYPD officers take her to the station for questioning if the see her in the city.
Members of the media wait outside singer Chris Brown‘s house in the Tarzana neighborhood of Los Angeles, Tuesday, Aug. 30, 2016. His arraignment was tentatively set for September 20.
Curren told the newspaper Brown threatened her when she was admiring diamond jewelry and told her and a friend to leave the house. However, the singer has posted on Instagram a photo of a woman, claiming he’s the one who called Police. The robbery-homicide division was sent to deal with the incident and served Brown with an arrest warrant at his home.
Mark Geragos, the star’s attorney, tweeted shortly after: “Thanks to everyone for their support and well wishes”. The allegations against him are demonstrably false.
At around 12:30 a.m. on February 8, 2009, Brown and his then-girlfriend, recording artist Rihanna, had an argument which escalated into physical violence, leaving Rihanna with visible facial injuries which required hospitalization.
Throughout the afternoon, several of Brown’s associates descended to the street below Brown’s estate. In some instances, the men were belligerent, flashing obscene hand gestures and grabbing recording equipment.
Brown was ordered to attend a rehabilitation centre as a result, but was then kicked out of the facility for breaking its rules.
After completing a series of court-ordered anger management classes, Brown was also accused of throwing a brick at his mother’s auto.
