Saudi power relay facility hit by projectile from Yemen
Armed men loyal to the Houthi movement hold their weapons as they gather to protest against a Saudi-led coalition air strike that hit a hospital operated by Medecins Sans Frontieres in northern Yemen, in the capital Sanaa August 16, 2016.

And despite Kerry’s words about seeking peace in Yemen, the US continues to supply Saudi Arabia with weapons that have been used to kill civilians in that country.
Backed by Saudi-led airstrikes, pro-Hadi forces have since managed to reclaim large swathes of the country’s south – including provisional capital Aden – but have failed to retake Sanaa and other strategic areas. The Saba report was also carried by Iran’s Press TV.
The Houthi claims of an attack against Aramco facilities come just day after U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry met with Saudi Arabia’s King to discuss the conflict in Yemen. Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said such statements were “baseless accusations”.
According to the Saba news agency, the Supreme Political Council formed by the Houthis last month, expressed willingness to support any peace initiative if the Yemeni government and its allies stop all the military operations against the rebels. The United States has backed the coalition with multi-billion dollar arms sales and provided logistical and intelligence support. Instead, the announcement of a new plan was greeted by rocket attacks from Al Houthi forces that struck well over the border, hitting a power station in Saudi Arabia.
Saudi Arabia’s unremitting attacks against Yemen’s civilian infrastructure continues with the kingdom’s fighter jets bombing a sugar factory in the western province of Hudaydah.

“Work is under way in coordination with concerned authorities in the Saudi Electricity Company to return the situation to normal”, the agency said.
