The iPhone 7 will officially be unveiled on september 7. A pleasant change for a company with a reputation for selling pricey dongles and adaptors as extras.

On the other hand, the iPhone 7 Plus is expected to sport a 5.5-inch full HD display (1920x1080p), 3GB LPDDR4 RAM, Apple A10 CPU, M10 co-processor, 2,190mAh cell and dual 12MP camera with 1/3-inch sensor and F/1.9 aperture.

Removing the headphone port would enable the tech giant to make the iPhone thinner. There are expectations that the new gen iPhone released this September will be similar to the model of the previous year, albeit some small visual changes.

Apple could also launch new MacBooks and a new model of Apple Watch at the event.

Other products that might be unveiled next week include a second-gen version of the Apple Watch and perhaps upcoming Mac models.

The company also just announced that its Pink Gold Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge are now available for purchase in the United States. Apple users have long complained about storage and it looks like Apple is finally ditching the 16GB storage option and starting at 32GB and from the looks of this label, going all the way up to 256GB. The new smartwatch should sport Global Positioning System tracking and some health features, if what the sources said is true.

Apple's next iPhone will likely be unveiled Sept. 7
