One police officer has been injured and taken to a hospital, according to the Denver Police Department’s Twitter account.
DENVER | Police say a man was fatally shot when he reached for an officer’s gun during a fight in Denver.
As they approached the suspect, he escaped out of a rear window.
The suspect then apparently tried to get an officer’s service weapon and shots were fired. The third officer’s injuries are non-life-threatening.
At least one of the officers who attempted to make the arrest suffered a serious leg injury related to a struggle during the attempted arrest, but was not shot.
