Earlier this evening, on Brown’s official Sound Cloud page, he dropped a new track entitled, “What Would You Do?“.
“Thanks to everyone for their support and well wishes”, Brown’s attorney, Mark Geragos, posted on Twitter after Brown was released.
Police were called to Chris’ house after beauty queen Baylee Curran dialled 911 and accused him of pulling a gun on her after an argument.
The Los Angeles Police Department arrived at Brown’s home around 3 a.m. on August 30 after receiving a call from a woman needing assistance. Brown denied any wrongdoing through social media including posting videos on his Instagram account inviting police to obtain a search warrant. “There is no truth to it and we’re going to let it play out”.
“Every three months you come up with something, bro”, he said in a clip.
“What I do care about is you are defacing my name and my character and integrity”, he added, saying he had done nothing wrong and criticising police actions.
“I don’t care y’all going to stay playing with me like I’m the villain out here, like I’m going insane. good luck when you get the warrant or whatever you need to do”.
Reports have it that the ‘Loyal’ singer could face up to 14 years behind bars if he’s found guilty of assault with a deadly weapon.
He was released late Tuesday night on $250,000 bail. “The accusations against him are demonstrably false”. The 27-year-old R&B star was reportedly released at 11:19 P.M. according to records from the Los Angeles County jail. “The world will see!”
Chris Brown is scheduled to be arraigned on September 20.
Most notably, Brown was given probation in 2009 after admitting to attacking singer Rihanna, his girlfriend at the time.
