Judge Mehta spoke after Ramona Cotca, an attorney for the conservative group Judicial Watch, asked to negotiate the timing of potential releases, saying she hoped it would not take long for a review.
The report will include about 30 pages of details about the probe, as well as roughly a dozen additional pages of notes from Clinton’s interview with the Federal Bureau of Investigation in early July. Clinton claims that the hidden emails were deleted for their personal content.

The hearing was held in one of several FOIA lawsuits brought by Judicial Watch now revolving around the newly uncovered 14,900 emails.
Based on the FBI investigative file, including notes from Clinton’s July interview, Gowdy said it doesn’t appear agents pressed Clinton on why she set up the server.
But numerous document probes that threaten to deepen Clinton’s ethical woes are unlikely to turn up scathing evidence before November, giving the Democratic nominee an opportunity to wait out the controversies until after the election has been decided.
In a separate development Tuesday, Judicial Watch submitted 25 questions to Ms. Clinton about her 2009 decision to rely on a private server in the basement of her NY home rather than a government email account. “If Clinton did not consider emails about something as important as Benghazi to be work related, one has to wonder what is contained in the other emails she attempted to wipe from her server”.
The group submitted 25 questions to Mrs. Clinton on Tuesday about the server set-up.
US District Court Judge Emmet G Sullivan ordered Clinton earlier this month to answer the group’s questions under oath.
The FBI did not immediately respond to emails from The Associated Press asking to discuss Grassley’s demand. “I’m confident you can get it done by the 6th”.
